Judy is an award-winning poet and children’s author who lives in southeastern Tennessee. Her 2002 work "These Divided States" was featured in THE BEST POEMS AND POETS OF 2002 (The International Library of Poetry.) Other works include: "Blind Child's Prayer" and "Guess What, Ben?" which were published in REFLECTIONS OF THE SOUL and IDYLLIC THOUGHTS.

Synopsis:

Rodney was a little gray squirrel who lived alone in a hollow tree in the forest. He had become very lonely over the years. the only visitors Rodney ever saw were six fat hogs in old man Tom's hog pen and occasionally old man Tom when he came twice a day to feed the hogs. Rodney would scamper to the other side of the tree when he saw the old man. Soon Rodney meets a girl squirrel and old man Tom befriends them both. A gentle, touching story of the love between man and animal that will delight both young and old alike. Wonderful colorful illustrations bring the story to life!
